Michael Sato started his professional freelance photography career in 2001 after studying under photographer Ryoji Shiozuki, working mainly with Japanese weddings on the Big Island of Hawaii.  He has shot countless weddings over the years; working with both film and digital photography.  His longtime passion for art and love for photography are expressed in his evolving creative work and have lead him to expand his photography to portraitures, food/architectural photography, and private photo sessions.
